High level objectives of the testing solution based on RFP Evaluation Criteria are:


  
 

• System meets specifications laid down and is “fit for use” by business    users
• The software solution is tested by an independent test team
• De-risk project cost overruns and slippages


  
 
The “V-Testing” services is shown in figure 1.121 is recommended to be followed during the software life cycle to meet the above objectives. The software life cycle is based on the solution vendor customizing its products to meet client business requirements and their integration to arrive at a total solution.
